    Drive about 1.5 hours to Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman site in Morocco, famous for its mosaics. Stop at the viewpoint over Moulay Idriss, then continue to Meknes to see Bab Mansour, El Hedim square and the vast royal granaries. Return to Fes in the late afternoon.
