Itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1

Marrakech – Tizi n'Tichka – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your driver picks you up from your riad in the morning. We climb the High Atlas via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m), with stops at Berber villages and viewpoints. Visit the fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous film location, then continue past Ouarzazate and through the Valley of Roses to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

  2. 2

    Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga dunes

After breakfast, drive through the dramatic Dades Gorge and on to Todra Gorge, where limestone walls rise high above a clear stream — perfect for a short walk. Continue via Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. In the late afternoon, ride a camel into the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset, then enjoy dinner and Berber music at the desert camp.

  3. 3

    Day 3

Merzouga sunrise – Draa route – Marrakech

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes, then ride back to Merzouga for breakfast and a shower. The return journey to Marrakech is a long but scenic drive through desert landscapes, palm groves and the Anti-Atlas, with plenty of stops along the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
